Our Story

In 2018, we had a vision – to create a business that treats people fairly and to be a place where people can come and make an honest living. That’s why we created J. Post Haulage Ltd.

We wanted to build a place where people love to be and that we love to be. Over the years, we have worked hard to make a living, keeping our heads down and focusing solely on the business.

Prior to starting our trucking adventure, Jim worked as an automotive and heavy-duty mechanic for about 18 years. Having a mechanical background was an asset to this new adventure. Jim also wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were also truckers.

In only a few years, the family business has grown substantially, offering services like hauling sawdust and drill cuttings for drilling rigs and environmental companies.

Every day is a challenge; it may be a new job, a new location or just adding a new person or truck to the fleet. No matter the challenge, we are up for it.

“Wow, we really did this . . . from absolutely nothing,” is a phrase we still say from time to time.

“Chase your dreams, not the money.” It’s a philosophy that has served us well as we continue to build a company based on trust, family values, and a love for the open road.
